Spring Engagements. It’s about time!

These photos are from last year, but I am so ready for spring in Utah!  I  love wild flowers, warm weather, and couples in love!  I’m also sick of taking photos in deep deep snow!  Erin and DJ made for a perfect night of everything I love about photography and spring.  We had fun and played in fields of flowers in warm spring air.  It was perfect.  I can’t wait for spring break next week when I have a whole bunch of sessions!  Bring on the blossoms I’m done with the cold! Who’s with me?

Pretty much the coldest session ever!  The snow was pretty deep I kid you not!  But well worth the photos!

Before I meet this bride we talked about how she wanted to have her engagements at a great spot with an overlook of Salt Lake City.  I thought this was a fun request and went and scouted out a few great spots.  I think the mountains above the city make for a great romantic spot for a couple to stroll around!

The Vista at Cedar Hills

I love this couple, their family, and the lovely venue of The Vista at Cedar Hills.  The mother of the bride let me know that photos of the grand children playing where important for me to capture.  I had a grand time chasing these little suspender clad gentlemen around the ballroom taking their photos.  So cute!
