I love shooting clients that are referrals. I felt like Jessica and Derek trusted me from the beginning of the shoot and it made is so natural and comfortable to photograph them. Derek is an awesome groom, he’s not camera shy at all! And it is so evident that he loves Jessica so much. I loved that he loved showing off and kissing her in front of her mom. I’m always up for making a shoot a party so my brides are always welcome to bring friends and family along. Jessica’s mom was a star and made an awesome assistant. Jessica I’m so excited to shoot your wedding in May!
Much to my husband’s dismay I love to collect items I think would be cool to use as props in photographs. Lately I have been stockpiling old suitcases. I’m glad that I finally pulled them out for a couple shoots this weekend. It was so much fun to work with Jenni and Nate to get these awesome photos! They can totally rock the serious look but I loved it when I caught sweet little moments where Nate made Jenni smile. There is just something so fresh and exciting about being around engaged couples. Kim is one of my roommates from college and I am so excited to shoot her wedding! It was so much fun to see her again and reminisce over old stories of running out of toilet paper and roommates stealing our milk! Kim is just one of those people who make me laugh all the time! I love being around her! I’m so glad that she has found Ryan and that he is such a catch! I’m so happy for her! Ryan is from Park City and they both love the snow. It was the perfect location for their engagements!
I love my job! I love shooting people in love on their wedding day! Getting to know them on their engagement shoot. It’s the best thing in the world!
How stinkin’ cute is this couple?! I love that they wanted to do a baseball theme to their engagement photos. I think it’s so cool when couples like to put a little bit of themselves into their photos!

It might look like the beach but be warned, its beauty is only skin deep. It has the bitter brine of the Great Salt Lake. Somehow extreme but beautiful weather conditions seem to love Teresa. The last time I hung out with her was on a road trip. We squeezed her, my great friend Michelle, and I into my little Nissan truck. It was a blazing day in summer with two window air conditioning. It was beautiful but scorching hot. Today it was beautiful, but it was also a wind storm. No amount of aqua net was going to be able to control Teresa’s hair today! That said, her hair was gorgeous! She definatly knows how to rock the wind blown look.
She’s a cute little bag or potatoes! Love the way the her hair is blowing in the wind!
