This was a gem of a wedding that I shot over the summer. The Salt Lake Temple is so beautiful in the summer. Andrea and Sean had awesome taste. I loved her flowers, but her cake was one of my favorites this year! I loved how different the white coconut was. So simple and elegant! The fresh flowers where the perfect touch! And I have to find out where she had her bridesmaid dresses done. She mentioned that they where custom made in India and designed by each girl and where only $40! I’m a girl who loves a bargain and the dresses are just too cute! If I can weasel the info out of her I’ll post it on here later. The live band was ideal for dancing and having a great time. I’m glad that Andrea’s dad had a fun time with her and sent her twirling around the dance flour. It made for awesome photos and I’m sure Kale her videographer got some great shots as well. So many fun moments from this wedding! Enjoy!
Salt Lake City Temple and Joseph Smith Memorial Building
Natalie was a gorgeous bride. My little girl has been sitting on my lap while I choose which photos to post today and she keeps pointing to Natalie and saying, “princess! princess!” It was such a pretty wedding with so many fun moments. Natalie is an amazing singer and dedicated a song just for Joey. Joey wasn’t too bad himself when he surprised Natalie with a song. And there were so many gorgeously decked out little nephews and nieces running around. It was simply a beautiful event!
Salt Lake City wedding in the Avenues. Oh, I love warmer weather!
This wedding was from forever ago! But I thought of it recently since Caroline and Galen just had their first baby, who I was able to go out and see and photograph. She is beautiful! The setting for the wedding was perfect for an intimate wedding in the avenues of Salt Lake City. Galen is an art director and I think it really shows in the details of their wedding. I loved all the white funiture they brought in for the guests to use. The flowers were simply so elegant, different and beautiful! Caroline had my favorite bouquet out of any bride I photographed this year! Kado did an awesome job for them!
Canterbury Place: Bountiful Utah Wedding
Piper + John are an amazing couple, I had a blast being part of their special day! After dating for five years there was a great enthusiasm over everybody who attended the event and there were so many wonderful emotions to capture the whole day. This was my first time shooting at Canterbury Place and it turned out to be beautiful!
Baby it’s cold outside today at the Salt Lake Temple!
Saturday ended up being a bit colder than any of us would have liked but we still got some really beautiful photos! Jennifer and Bob were the perfect couple together and you could tell they where genuinely in love! Bob treated her like a princess the whole time and I think that comes through in the photos. I loved Bob’s bow tie! He’s my first groom to sport one and I think it was just the perfect touch. The bride’s red rose bouquet complemented his tie perfectly!
Salt Lake Temple and This is the Place Wedding!
Carson was just such a cute bride! I loved how she chose sunflowers to decorate her wedding with! And This is the Place state park was the perfect location for her reception. They fit perfectly together! I thought that the old fashioned candy was really cute to give as favors to her guests. The root bear floats and cookies made for perfect refreshments. I wish her and Robert the happiest of futures!

Wedding at Zion National Park Utah!
Zion National Park is one of my favorite places in the world. It’s stunning beauty makes it a wonderful location for a wedding! Tom and Michelle both recently graduated with degrees in geology and love the outdoors. They fell in love on a trip they took together to the park. It only made sense that they should have their wedding there as well. I have to say that the grandmas at this wedding were some of the sweetest I’ve ever met. Tom’s grandma gave Michelle her handkerchief from her wedding and Michell’s grandma gave her a short cake cutting lesson and then insisted on serving the cake herself to the guests. Oh, and the grooms cake was the perfect fit for Tom it had all his favorite outdoor recreation on it from rock climbing to mountain biking. And I love a bridal party that loves to get on the dance floor and let loose!
Nikki and Ben get hitched at the Salt Lake City Temple!
Ok, so I know it’s another spring wedding, but be patient I still need to post my fall brides bridals! Anyway, I thought Nikki’s cake was so cute! I loved that most of it was made up of chocolate cup cakes with strawberries on top! But I thought it was ideal to have the top layer a small cake so that it could still be used for the traditional cake cutting. I also thought it was genius to have a small dinner after the wedding and then leave strait for the honeymoon! Nobody really wants to wait in line at a reception on their wedding day anyway.

Salt Lake City Temple Wedding! (Utah Wedding Photographer)
Now, I’m just randomly updating my blog with little photos from weddings I have loved photographing this year. Kim is an awesome girl! I was her roomie in college and she has always been a blast to be around. Not to mention she is sooooo creative! She made all the decorations for her wedding! I can’t imagine how many hours she spent making crepe paper flowers and their vases made out of tree limbs. A friend made her guest book and hand-drew the couple on the front to look like them. And I just can’t get over how much I love her handmade dress and veil!
