Utah State Capitol Bridal Shoot
There is something about a gorgeous couple, dressed in their best in a romantic atmosphere that makes photography so much fun! The Utah State Capitol is filled with an essence of history and romance. I love photographing their in the beautiful window light. And like I mentioned earlier having a fun and beautiful couple is just the cherry on the top of an already yummy photo shot! Yep that was pretty cheesy–but it came from the heart all the same!

A classic beauty for a bride! And a tour around Ogden!
I love photographing Ashley. She has such a fun personality and I was happy to have her dad along for most of the Bridal shoot. Seriously, more dads should come. Well, if your dad is as cool as Ashley’s! He has serious connections and helped to make most of this shoot possible. and he is a lot of fun! I can’t wait to meet more of her family at her wedding. I never knew that Ogden had so many cool locations, I love all the spots that Ashley chose! I loved this shoot because every time I looked at through my camera I was floored by Ashley’s beauty. If you know her you probably know how much fun it is to be around her, but her classical beauty is breathtaking. I kept thinking she looked like Cleopatra or maybe a Greek goddess. Here’s the pics!

Did you know the Utah State Capitol closes at 6:00?
Well, we learned that it closed at six the hard way. But we still managed to squeeze in a whole bunch of awesome photos. Caitlin and Terry were awesome as I ran them around the Capitol here in Salt Lake City. Caitlin’s sister rocked the off camera flash. I usually set it up on light stands but it is a lot easier to have an assistant hold it. And boy did we eat through the batteries. I think I have to ask Santa to bring me some more rechargeables! The State Capitol is a popular bridal location and hopefully we were able to get a few shots that you haven’t seen before.

Mary and William’s Wedding and Photo Booth
It was so much fun shooting this wedding up in Logan. Despite the cold weather we still got some great shots. I love Mary’s classic beauty. She has delicate features the make her look stunning in photographs. I wish them the best of luck with their new life.
Shantai’s Bridals Sneak Peek
Here is a sneak peek of some bridals I took for my friend Shantai. We took them in a Thai restaurant. The owner was super cool about letting us come in during off hours and taking photos. We did get a few off looks form some usuals that apparently like to eat at all hours of the day. What? You don’t go out for Thai dressed up in your wedding dress? All in all it was a lot of fun. What an adventurous bride! I will upload more late until then here’s your sneak peek!

These photos were so much fun to take at the State Capitol. I loved being able to shoot out across Salt Lake City. The bride was so such a good sport to come up from Provo to Salt Lake to take these photos. I loved her dress it was simply just elegant. We had a blast using the gorgeous sunset light and then later shooting into dusk. I can’t wait to shoot her wedding up in Logan!
Jory and Angie
I loved shooting this wedding! Angie and Jory were so much fun. They had the prettiest decorations for their wedding. I keep kicking myself that I didn’t take a photo of what the photo booth looked like there. I guess it’s not really a booth. It’s my studio; background, light, tv, and printer. It looked great next to their great flower arrangements and fountain. It was great because it was inbetween their wedding line and the food. So I was able to take photos of all the guests in route to the refreshments. The guests loved taking home their photos as party favors. Even though we stopped when they threw the buoquet and for the cake cutting I was still able to take over 300 photos in the two hour period. So much fun! I can’t wait for my next wedding!
