How/when/where did you first meet?
 
-Ryan and Emily are both Juniors at Brigham Young University. He is three years older, but because of his LDS mission, they will graduate together- He in Finance, and she in Family History. 
 
In January of 2016 Emily moved into a new apartment complex with a friend. On Sunday January 31st, she happened to go to church alone and ended up sitting by herself. Ryan was blessing the Sacrament that day, and as he was looking around the room for a place to sit, he noticed a beautiful girl sitting alone…. so he sat next to her. The bishop of their ward was speaking that day and because he was so funny, Emilylaughed all throughout the meeting. Ryan quickly fell in love with her cute laugh and beautiful big blue eyes. She noticed his note-taking skills… and rugged handsomeness! The next day they happened to be working out at the gym at the same time. Ryan was determined to get to know Emily better so when she left the gym, he ran out after her and asked her to go out on a date with him that Saturday. The two clicked on that first date,which was filled with laughter, a long drive, and amazing conversations. Neither wanted the date to end. Ryan kept asking Emily out every weekend, and Emily kept saying “Yes!” to every single one. Over the course of time, the two fell head over heels in love with each other. More than seven months later, on Friday, September 2nd, Ryan took Emily out for a romantic dinner and afterwards they went to the Provo City Center Temple. While walking around the grounds, Ryan pointed out a beautiful bouquet of red roses accompanied by a note. After looking closer, they “found out” that it was for Emily. Ryan had previously written out a sweet proposal poem which they then read together. As the poem ended, Ryan got down on one knee by the fountain and asked Emily to marry him. Following a long and happy tradition… she said, “Yes!”

Utah wedding photographer photographs the payson utah lds temple.  I love shooting lds utah weddings. I am a Utah wedding photographer.  The Payson Utah temple was so pretty this day.  Even for a winter wedding the Payson Utah Temple is still so beautiful.  I love shooting mormon weddings at the Payson Temple.  Payson Temple Weddings are so fun in their country setting of Utah.  These cute kids are from out of state but the Payson Temple is close to Brigham Young University.  Payson Temple weddings are a great fit for a girl who is going to BYU.  This was the first time I have ever photographed a wedding at the Payson Temple and I loved being there to take their wedding photos.

Congratulations to this cute couple Courtney and Courtland!  Way to make it easy to remember names on this one!  😉  I was a lucky wedding photographer and got to photograph her sister’s wedding as well.  I always feel loved when multiple siblings in a family use my services.  It was a beautiful wedding.  The couple was stunning, great food and a gorgeous backdrop.  What more could you want!

Fun Couple Story:

I think a funny story is that this couple got engaged July 24 in Pittsburgh and married Sept. 9. the same year.  He was living in Texas, she was living in Pittsburgh and the wedding is in Salt Lake.  We live in Omaha and also took a trip to Norway with the bride from July 29 to Aug 10.  Its been a whirlwind but hope all goes well.

This is Timpanogos temple wedding that won’t soon be forgotten. I love shooting weddings at the mount timpanogous temple.  If you are a Mormon looking at temples for your temple wedding I would highly suggest you consider getting married at the Timpanogous temple.  The Mount timpanogos temple makes for beautiful wedding photos.  A Timpanogos temple wedding will not disapoint and give an Utah bride and groom magic like wedding photos.  I love being a Utah wedding photographer, I love attending timpanogos temple weddings.  I love wedding photography in general.  I love how whimsical this couple was and how it fit perfectly with their timpanogos temple wedding.  I live in Salt Lake City, but it’s worth going to Utah county for this timpanogos temple wedding.  I’m trying to get this to 300 words about this timpanogos temple wedding.  Don’t hate on me haters about this Mount timpanogos temple wedding.  I love being a Utah wedding photographer.  Maybe I should have named this blog entry Utah wedding photographer shoots a timpanogos temple wedding. I think that seems long.  Or is naming this timpanogos temple wedding shot by a utah wedding photographer better?  What I like best about Timpanogos temple weddings is that you don’t have to walk that far to get really pretty angles of this temple.  The Mount timpanogos temple I like to photograph it from the south east side.  It’s really pretty for wedding photos there.  You can see the whole temple and it’ makes a perfect back drop for the bride and groom.  Even on this really sunny day in Utah we still rocked really pretty photos at the timpanogos temple.

Utah Engagement Photos: Jordan and Matthew

I had the funnest time last Saturday with these two!  After the craziness that is a family of six I enjoy getting out and remembering the bliss that is young love.  Matthew is so kind to Jordan.  The way he treats her, looks at her, holds her it is clear that she means so much to him.  I’ve known Jordan since I photographed her sisters wedding a few years ago and I’m so happy for her to find her missing piece.  I can’t wait for their wedding in May!!! Sometimes as a photographer it is so fun to get out and do a “fun” shoot like this Utah wedding inspiration shoot.  That was the case with this wedding inspiration sessionn.  I was so happy to be able to go out and shoot with the amazing Loblee Photography!  She was the master mind behind this Utah wedding inspiration shoot out.  She came up with the unique star gazing them and put together the amazing list of vendors down below!

Utah wedding photography is a competitive field full of great wedding photographers. When you are looking for a wedding photographer make sure you do your leg work looking at a lot of different wedding photographers and their wedding photography portfolios.  Make sure your wedding photographer knows what they are doing and are competent in the wedding photography field.  A wedding photographer who is to be trusted should be able to show you a lot of different weddings in their wedding photography galleries.  A good wedding photographer can shoot in dark reception centers and still get great wedding photographs.  I have shot over a hundred weddings most of them being local to salt lake city Utah.  I understand the Utah bride and groom and their needs for wedding photography.  Feel free to write me and ask any wedding photography questions you might have.

Utah Bridal Photos

Utah bridal photos:  Bridal photos are some of my favorite to take.  A little test run of how beautiful a bride will be on her wedding day.  Utah is home to so many beautiful and scenic photo locations.  We decided to take Jordan’s bridals out at Saltair.  Saltair is a great place for any Utah bridal photos.  The long reeds or the shores of the Great Salt Lake make for amazing views that complement any bride.  I also just love Jordan’s headpiece.  It was the perfect compliment to her stunning wedding dress.  All together the perfect picture of a bride! I love photographing out at Saltair.  Sometimes Saltair is buggy and stinky but it always makes for great wedding photography.  I love that Jordan just did her Utah bridal photos by herself without the groom.  Utah bridal photos can be such a bonding experience for a mom and the bride.  Saltair was so much fun and so pretty.  Saltair can look just like the beach!

Wedding Grand America Hotel: This wedding at Grand America Hotel was one of my favorite weddings this past year.  It was so lovely and beautiful!  Truly one of the grandest hotels Salt Lake City has to offer.  It is a perfect setting for an extra fancy wedding!  I loved all the details of this great wedding including the amazing ice sculpture.  I can’t wait until I can photographer another Wedding at Grand America Hotel.  Here is more of the couples love story and how they met!

In Lisa’s own words, “Our adventure began one fateful night, August 8th 2009. We both ended up at a house warming party, one that Kasey had been invited to but was almost too shy to go and that Lisa hadn’t been invited to but wasn’t about to let that stop her from tagging along with her Best Man, Dee.

Not long into the party Kasey saw Lisa from across the crowd and had to approach, but wasn’t sure just what to say… A first impression is so important, he had to say something brilliant! He eventually decided on, “Can you hand me a jello shot? The blue one, because I’ve always wanted to be a smurf but they tell me I’m too tall.”

This was by far the most ridiculous and cheesy thing Lisa had ever heard, and she instantly fell for him. She tried to play it cool, sticking close to Dee and trying to hide her interest. However, Dee quickly put an end to that by proclaiming that he had never seen Lisa fall for someone as hard or as quickly as she just had for Kasey. And that was it, all of the cards on the table.

Since that moment, the two of them have rarely been apart and plan to live that way for the rest of their lives. ”

Stormy Bridals In Salt Lake City

Not even kidding the rain was coming at us side ways.  As we drove up to the Utah State Capitol garbage cans where floating down the road.  It was craziness!  But it did make for some cool photos!

Here is the couples story!  My all time favorite wedding proposal!  It’s killer just take a peek!I think our best couple claim to fame is Micah’s awesome proposal. My favorite holiday is Halloween, like, I’m obsessed with it. I thought micah might want to propose on Halloween so I kinda expected it. He asked me a few months before if he could lie to me for the sake of me not finding out about the proposal, and from then on he lied a lot 😉 I guess I’m pretty good at finding stuff out so he pulled out all the stops so I would have no idea. He faked a business trip to California, even sent me fake pictures, he made my roommate and friend lie to me about having free tickets to fear factory in salt lake. It was great. My roommate and I got “VIP” passes to skip the line and go through the haunted house together. It was awesome, and near the end there was a haunted carnival with a bunch of clowns running around. A fortune teller came up to me and said my name and led me into a dark corner. I was kinda freaked out wondering how they knew my name, if this was micah’s doing, what was happening. I dismissed the thought of a proposal because I thought micah was out of state on a business trip. The rest is kind of a blur but I remember one clown asking me all these personal questions and then from the back of the crowd of clowns micah came out, took off his mask, got down on one knee and proposed amid the chainsaws and screams of the haunted house. It might have been weird to anyone else but it was more than I could have ever dreamed. So much fun and so creative!
